A&D FG SERIES BENCH SCALES

WARNING - Caveat Emptor - A&D claims the FG-Series can be purchased with an optional RS-232-C interface.  The issue is the RS-232 can only "stream the data in continuos mode" & the FG indicator does not have a "print" key making it impractical for almost any data acquisition application.  We definitely don't recommend the FG since in our words it is an old dinosaur.  Instead look at the HV-G Series bench scales.

A&D FG Series

The FG series is an excellent general use bench or platform scale for shipping, receiving, checkweighing, inventory control, quality control applications and much more.  Easy to setup and operate with stable, accurate, large display.  The FG series is also compact, light weight and runs from AC or battery power so it can operate where it's needed the most.

With its large 11.8" x 15.0" stainless steel pan and battery operation the FG-Series is a portable weighing machine.  Optional RS-232c allows easy connection to a printer or computer for record keeping or system control.  A&D's WinCT, your laptop and the FG equipped with the RS232c and you have a mobile paperless weighing station perfect for companies that refill oxygen bottles at clients homes for home healthcare applications.  The FG Series (except FG-200KB) is NTEP Approved (NTEP CC# 93-063) so it will meets the requirements of your weights and measures official for sell goods by weight.

Standard configuration has the meter head attached to the scale base for use on the bench.  For use as a floor scale, an optional column (part FG-02 $139.00) can be used to raise the meter head.  The indicator can also be attached to the wall via the optional wall mounting kit(FG-01 $39.00.)
